Huawei SCUN is a super control unit, which is the core of system
control and service switching aggregation. It can also be used as
the management and control core of unified network management.
Huawei SCUN delivers key management control information through the
master-slave serial interface, the in-band GE/10GE channel, and the
service board to complete the configuration, management, and
control of the entire product. At the same time, implement simple
routing protocols and other functions.
Features and specifications
All super control unit boards (SCU main control board) support the
following functions:
· System Control Management Unit
· Active/standby switchover
· Maintenance serial port CON and maintenance network port ETH,
support local and remote maintenance
· Environmental monitoring serial port ESC, support for
environmental monitoring access
The functions of each module of Huawei SCUN are as follows:
The control module implements the management of the board and the
service board, and communicates with the fan frame through the
extended serial port.
The power module provides working power for each functional module
in the board.
The clock module provides working clocks for each function module
in the board.
The switch module provides GE/10GE interfaces to implement Layer 2
or Layer 3 service switching and aggregation.
Provides 4 GEs for uplink uplink of the panel.
Provide 2 GE/10GEs for each upstream board for uplink board.
Provides 16 GE/10GEs and implements GE/10GE exchange with each
service board.
Two 10GEs are provided, and load balancing is implemented with the
standby Huawei SCUN (supported by V800R011C00 and above).
